There are many types of monsters in the game, and each one has its own weaknesses. The game uses the typewriter checkpoint whenever you see one, walk up to it and press the interact button to save. When encountering an interactable object, a button will appear on the screen. The first one is for switching and reloading, and the second one is for firing your weapons.
